Bonnie & Clyde spread misery and grief across the landscape, caring little for their victims. Still think this comparison unfair? I beg to differ. Their sway and swagger overshadow everything, including appearances, proprieties, duties, judgment and law. The cumulative effect of this process combined with the past efforts of her husband have yielded a system littered with Clinton cronies, driven by their ideology and controlled by their will.

She’s been embedded in the halls of government for years, learning the ins and outs and the who’s who, appointing personal friends during her career to key positions. This woman actually holds herself above the law. Is it their popularity with the under classes, or simply having friends in high places stemming from Bill’s presidential years? A good miscreant knows if you can call in favors from business leaders, union bosses, the police chief, a district attorney, judge or political hack, even a mayor/ governor/president, then you can have your way in the community and the law be damned! We all know what they’ve been up to over the years and, most amazing, how they’ve eluded punishments for their crimes & misdemeanors. Somewhere in this lies a comparison with our modern day scofflaws the Clintons, who I think are an ongoing menace to American society. Most would grant they won a measure of immortality in the tapestry of time, their dastardly deeds flashing briefly in the sweep of history. We were captivated by their bravado and success, at how they had the guts to risk it all for a short-lived fame. We don’t see bigger-than-life gangsters today like back in the 30’s, who fired our imaginations because they were one of us, bucking the system in very hard times. We marveled at their exploits but knew their days were numbered. Eventually they were tracked down, ambushed while driving their car across a field, and killed in a hail of gunfire.

Bonnie was the girlfriend/moll of Clyde Barrow and they rolled roughshod over the mid-west robbing banks and killing randomly as needed.

Many don’t remember or aren’t acquainted with the Public Enemy era of the 1930’s when outlaws were like movie stars and Bonnie & Clyde roamed the land.
